Autographed Phish Poster - Stuttgart '97
Original, offset lithograph used to promote Phish’s February 26, 1997 concert in Stuttgart, Germany. The fabled “cow funk” era began in earnest on the stages of Europe ‘97, and the classic live album Slip, Stitch, and Pass would be recorded just 3 nights later at at the Markthalle Hamburg. Stored flat since it was acquired directly from friend-of-the-band Pü Tzu around ‘99-’00, this poster is in excellent condition for a print that was intended to be used only for short term wall advertising and then tossed. It has been in the possession of only one smoke-free owner since then.
Printed by Karsten Jahnke Konzertdirektion GmbH, for Longhorn/LKA
Poster measures approx. 22.5” x 39.5”
Hand signed by all 4 members of the band Phish, including an inscription from Page thanking Pü Tzu… Pü told me the reason there are 2 Trey signatures is that the first red marker he used was of unexpectedly poor quality, and Trey wanted to try again after they found a better one.
